How to Use
This Library

Every prompt in this library is designed to be copy-and-pasted directly into your AI client, with your tracking platform connected. No setup, no modifications needed — just replace placeholders in brackets with your actual data.

The prompts are organized around four core workflows: Quality Audit (is this partner worth it?), Budget Allocation (where should I spend more?), Event Tracking (am I measuring the right things?), and Publisher Health (who's still active, who's dropped off?).

Each prompt includes context, dates, and examples so you get consistent, actionable answers. Start with the workflow that matters most this week, then dive in.

Pro tip
Begin every new session by asking for your account's default currency and timezone. This ensures all dates and numbers are interpreted correctly.

01

Session
Setup

Run these prompts first every time you start a new session. They confirm your defaults so all subsequent dates and numbers are interpreted correctly.

Confirm Your Account Defaults

"What is my network's default currency, timezone, and account name? Do I have limited affiliate scope?"

Understand Your Data Model

"What entity types can I query? Show me all available report dimensions and metrics, with definitions."

Check Today's Activity

"Give me a performance summary for today. Show total clicks, conversions, revenue, payout, and profit. Use my network's default timezone."

Important
Always run the first prompt when starting a new session. The AI needs to know your currency and timezone to interpret all subsequent dates and numbers correctly.
02

Quality
Audit

Is this partner/offer actually worth your budget? Use these prompts to identify low-quality traffic and assess whether a publisher is driving real users or bot volume.

Partner Conversion Quality (30-day look)

"For affiliate [AFFILIATE_ID], show me the last 30 days of performance: total clicks, conversions, conversion rate, and invalid click rate. Is this partner above or below my network average?"

Spot Bot Traffic or Invalid Clicks

"Run a performance report for affiliate [AFFILIATE_ID] between [FROM_DATE] and [TO_DATE] broken down by click error code. Show each error, the count, and what percentage of total clicks each represents."

User Quality: Repeat Purchase Rate

"For conversions from affiliate [AFFILIATE_ID] in the last 30 days, what percentage of those users made a second purchase within 60 days? How does this compare to my network average?"

Offer Health by Publisher

"Show me all publishers for offer [OFFER_ID] in the last 7 days. For each, display: clicks, conversions, CVR, and invalid click rate. Flag anyone with CVR below 0.5% or invalid clicks above 10%."

Red Flag Check: High Clicks, No Conversions

"Which publishers sent traffic to offer [OFFER_ID] in the last 7 days but had zero conversions? Sort by click volume descending."

When to use
Run Quality Audit prompts weekly. Focus on publishers where you're spending the most budget first — they're the biggest leaks if quality is low.
03

Budget
Allocation

Where should you increase spend? These prompts identify high-performing publishers and offers with room to scale, plus payback metrics so you know which opportunities you can actually afford.

Top Performers Ready to Scale

"Show me my top 10 affiliates by revenue for the past 30 days. For each, display: total revenue, EPC, conversion rate, payout, and profit. Which ones have the highest profit margin and room to scale?"

High CVR, Low Volume (Underutilized)

"Find publishers with conversion rate above [BENCHMARK]% but fewer than [MIN_CLICKS] clicks in the last 30 days. Sort by CVR descending. These are worth increasing budget on."

Payback Period by Partner

"For my top 5 publishers by volume, what is the average time from click to payout? Which ones generate profit within 30 days? Which require longer investment?"

Offer Performance Comparison

"Compare performance across my top 5 offers for the last 30 days. Show: clicks, conversions, CVR, revenue, payout, and profit for each. Which offer should receive more budget?"

Geographic Opportunity Map

"Break down last 30 days of performance by country. Show clicks, conversions, CVR, and revenue. Highlight any country with CVR above my network average but traffic volume below [THRESHOLD]."

When to use
Run Budget Allocation prompts before your weekly planning. Pair them with your budget availability — increase spend on publishers with proven payback, not just high CVR.
04

Event
Tracking

Are you measuring the right things? Use these prompts to audit event setup, verify data flow, and ensure conversions are being attributed correctly.

Audit Event Setup for an Offer

"For offer [OFFER_ID], list all configured conversion events. For each event, show: event name, event type, how many conversions in the last 7 days, and the payout per conversion."

Verify Conversion Attribution

"Look up conversion [CONVERSION_ID]. Show me the full picture: offer, publisher, advertiser, timestamp, payout status, error code, and the original click timestamp."

Check Event Data Flow

"For offer [OFFER_ID] in the last 24 hours, how many clicks were registered? How many conversions? What is the click-to-conversion ratio? Are conversions being tracked in real-time or with delay?"

Find Missing or Stalled Events

"Which of my offers had clicks in the last 7 days but zero conversions recorded? List them with their click volume. These may have tracking issues."

Publisher-Level Event Completeness

"For offer [OFFER_ID], compare conversion events by publisher. Which publishers have high click volume but low conversion count? This may indicate tracking gaps on their side."

When to use
Run Event Tracking audits after launching a new offer or when conversion numbers suddenly drop. Use the error code when investigating specific conversion failures.

Publisher Health &
Drop-Off

Who's gone cold? Who's still active? These prompts help you spot publishers that have fallen silent and decide who to follow up with.

Publishers That Dropped Off

"Which publishers sent traffic to any of my offers in [PREVIOUS_MONTH] but had zero clicks in [CURRENT_MONTH]? Sort by previous month's traffic volume descending."

Performance Decline Month-over-Month

"Compare performance for affiliate [AFFILIATE_ID] between [PREVIOUS_MONTH] and [CURRENT_MONTH]. Show month-over-month change in clicks, conversions, revenue, and payout."

Still Active but Quiet

"Which publishers had good traffic last month but are now in the bottom 25% by volume? Show their last 30 days: clicks, conversions, and CVR. These may need re-engagement."

Rising Stars (Momentum)

"Which publishers doubled or tripled their traffic week-over-week in the last 14 days? Show their 7-day and 14-day performance for each to confirm the trend is real."

Last Activity Check

"For my bottom 10 publishers by recent traffic, when did each last send a click? Show their total lifetime revenue and their last 30 days of activity."

When to use
Run Publisher Health prompts monthly. Follow up with dropped-off publishers who were previously solid (good quality, decent volume) — they may just need a rate update or new offer.
06

Traffic Investigation &
Fraud

Diagnose suspicious activity. Use these prompts to investigate individual clicks, spot patterns that don't add up, and protect your network from fraud.

Diagnose a Specific Click

"Look up transaction ID [TRANSACTION_ID]. Tell me: the offer, publisher, timestamp, whether it was accepted or blocked, any error code and its meaning, and whether it ever converted."

Find Suspicious Click Spikes

"Show me daily clicks for publisher [AFFILIATE_ID] over the last 14 days. Flag any single day that is more than 2x the daily average. What happened on those days?"

Invalid Click Breakdown

"For publisher [AFFILIATE_ID] between [FROM_DATE] and [TO_DATE], show me all invalid click errors broken down by error code. What percentage of their total clicks are being rejected?"

Conversion Quality Red Flags

"For publisher [AFFILIATE_ID], show any conversions marked with error status or declined in the last 30 days. What are the error codes? How much has this cost in unpaid commissions?"

Unusual Conversion Patterns

"For offer [OFFER_ID], are there any publishers with extremely high conversion rates (above 10%)? Or unusually high payout values? These may warrant manual review."

When to use
Run these prompts when you notice revenue spikes, conversion rate anomalies, or unexpected traffic patterns. Always have specific transaction or affiliate IDs on hand for diagnosis.
Guidance

Best
Practices

Follow these guidelines to get the most reliable, actionable answers from your prompts.
Dates Matter
Always use explicit dates (2026-04-01 to 2026-04-30) rather than relative terms like "last month." The AI performs better with specific date ranges and your timezone is correctly applied.
Use IDs, Not Names
When you have them, filter by affiliate_id or offer_id rather than by name. IDs are faster, more accurate, and avoid confusion if multiple publishers have similar names.
One Question at a Time
For complex investigations, ask one prompt at a time and wait for the answer. Multi-step workflows are more reliable when each step is confirmed before you move on.
Set Benchmarks
Compare individual publisher performance against your network average or your own goals (e.g., "CVR above 2%"). This makes decisions clearer and faster.
Combine Workflows
Start with Quality Audit to find problems, then Budget Allocation to find opportunities. Use Publisher Health monthly to stay on top of activity changes. Run Traffic Investigation only when something looks wrong.
Document Your Findings
Copy the AI's answers into a spreadsheet or document. Track which publishers you've reviewed, what you found, and what actions you took. This creates a record and helps you spot trends over time.
Questions? Start with Session Setup (Section 01) to confirm your account defaults, then pick the workflow that matters most this week. The library will evolve — add your own prompts as you discover patterns in your data.
